Drivers Ed

SGI and provincial school divisions offer the mandatory driver education program to high school students free of charge. By participating in this program you can have your learner's licence at age 15.

The program has 30 hours of in-class instruction and 6 hours of in-car instruction. The Class 7 learners knowledge test is administered as part of the program and completed during the in-class instruction."

Parents, along with the student, can go to the local SGI office to verify their child is a SK resident.  They should bring a power bill/phone bill as evidence of residency.  Please bring in the form that's below.  You'll note that Section B states that they intend to enroll in the next program offered by Creighton School.  The student will be able to write the exam for $25.00 in the Creighton Office- testers come in early February and early March.  This will get the student started with a learners.
